Thanks so much for explaining true forgiveness, Rabbi Riskin! I’m 65 and no one ever explained this to me in such detail. My grandmother always said, “It’s forgiven, but not forgotten.” I secretly thought it’s neither forgiven nor forgotten for intense hurtful behavior. In future I will try to truly forgive.
This is not Rabbi Riskin writing now, I am the editor of the Torah Video Online site. Thank you very much for the feedback, it warms my heart to hear that you understood the video like it’s supposed to be understood. We all have to grow in this area, I was also inspired to improve myself. Take care, all the best, and Chag Samayach!
